- Perform SE maintenance processes per the maintenance support requirements. Enters documentation of maintenance in NALCOMIS (VIDSMAFs).
- The MVMSE shall have demonstrated maintenance knowledge, experience, and working level skills/ability in:
- General knowledge of CNAFINST 4790.2 (series) requirements.
- NALCOMIS & VIDMAFs completion.
- The MVMSE shall have Weight Handling Equipment certification and Test Director, Hydraulic Contamination certification, and I Level SE Tire and Wheel certification.
- The MVMSE shall have a minimum of two (2)years in the last ten (10) years aircraft maintenance experience at an I level of repair (with two (2) years in each NEC area below emphasis in aviation support equipment repairs) and Aviation Quality Assurance Collateral Duty Inspector to the level of effort and complexity of the requirements of this SOW. Examples of acceptable experience: Navy Aviation Support Equipment Technician (AS) enlisted (E-5 through E-7). Graduate from Navy AS A or C schools or other military service equivalent. Possess one or more of the following NECs: AS-7603 (Support Equipment Air Conditioning and Mobile Maintenance Facility (MMF) Technician), AS-7606 (Support Equipment Gas Turbine Mechanic), AS-7607 (Support Equipment Tow Tractor Technician), AS-7612 (SE Hydraulic Intermediate Maintenance Technician), AS-7614 (Mobile Electric Power Plants Intermediate Maintenance Technician), or AS-7616 (Maintenance Crane Intermediate Maintenance Technician) enlisted (E-5 through E-7).

- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Must have a minimum of two (2) years in the last ten (10) years aircraft maintenance experience at an I level of repair.
- Graduate from Navy AS A or C schools or other military service equivalent.
- Must have Weight Handling Equipment certification and Test Director, Hydraulic Contamination certification, and I Level SE Tire and Wheel certification.
- Up to 25% travel may be required
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must have or be able to obtain a National Agency Check with Investigation. The NACI process will include requesting a credit history.

- Must be able to walk and stand on level and/or inclined surfaces for certain periods throughout the day.
- Must be able to climb stairs, ramps, ladders, and work stands, working at heights with fall protection devices.
- Must be able to crouch, crawl, grasp or handle objects, use finger dexterity, bend elbow/knee and reach above/below shoulders.
- May be required to lift up to 50 pounds and carry for short distances.
- May be required to read dials/gauges, identify small objects and hand tools.
- Must be able to see imperfections, micrometer readings and other small scales.
- Must be able to communicate by voice and detect sound by ear.
- Must be able to distinguish color and judge three-dimensional depth.
- May be required to operate power vehicles, machinery, hand tools, ground support equipment, fork lift, APU, etc.
