DUTIES
Must have demonstrated maintenance knowledge, experience, and working level skills/ability in:
- The SEWS shall have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
- The SEWS shall have demonstrated maintenance knowledge, experience, and working level skills/ability in:
- CNAFINST 4790.2 (series)
- Aviation support equipment maintenance processes.
- SE licensing and certification requirements
- The SEWS shall be Tire and Wheel certified
- The SEWS shall have a minimum of three (3) in the last ten (10) years aircraft maintenance experience at an I level of repair (with three (3) years emphasis in aviation support equipment repairs) and Aviation Quality Assurance Collateral Duty Inspector to the level of effort and complexity of the requirements of this SOW. Examples of acceptable experience: Navy Aviation Support Equipment Technician (AS) enlisted (E6 through E-9). Graduate from Navy AS A or C schools or other military service equivalent. NEC AS-7609 (Support Equipment Maintenance Manager enlisted (E-7 through E-9)).
- The SEWS shall have a minimum of (3) (three) years' experience in the field of military aviation supervision in the last ten (10) years to the level of effort and complexity of the requirements in this SOW.
- Other duties as assigned
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Must be a graduate of the Navy AS A or C schools or other military service equivalent.
- Must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience in the field of military aviation supervision.
- Must have a minimum of eight (8) years aircraft maintenance experience at an I level of repair.
- Proficiency in various computer programs required (ex: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must have or be able to obtain a Secret Clearance. The Secret Clearance process will include requesting a credit history.

- Must be able to walk and stand on level and/or inclined surfaces for certain periods throughout the day.

- May be required to lift up to 50 pounds.
- May be required to see aircraft in flight, read dials/gauges, identify small objects and hand tools.
- Must be able to see imperfections, micrometer readings and other small scales.
- Must be able to communicate by voice and detect sound by ear.
- Must be able to distinguish color and judge three-dimensional depth.
- May be required to operate power vehicles, machinery, hand tools, ground support equipment, fork lift, APU, etc.
