Job Description
The Senior Account Executive is responsible for driving sales, achieving EBIT goals, and nurturing a mutually profitable business relationship with major accounts in all channels by setting and implementing strategies that support TYR Sport.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day business in existing accounts
- Establish strong relationships with buying teams/management of the accounts
- Proactive account management: Continual sales analysis to manage product life cycles, inventory models, and rates of sale vs the Product Class forecast
- Identify opportunities to improve existing business, attack new business opportunities, and quickly address business challenges with well-thought-out solutions
- Work in close partnership with internal cross-functional teams: Account Service, Marketing, Merchandising, Planning, Sales Operations, Accounting & Credit to provide the highest level of service and product expertise from sell-in to sell-thru
Requirements:
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build lasting professional relationships
- Communication skills (both oral and written) and the ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization
- Proven experience managing major retail accounts and meeting sales targets
- Inquisitive and curious to ask thought-provoking questions that develop an understanding of business needs and opportunities
- Ability to learn and utilize systems and operational processes to manage order base and drive shipments
- Strong presentation skills to influence, command attention, storytelling, and close the sale
