Management Level : Job Description
SUMMARY : This position is responsible for developing and maintaining tools which contribute to the achievement of the financial and strategic goals of the Poultry division. Specific functional areas include inventory management, raw materials utilization, supply chain performance, KPI reporting, and the Poultry SOP process.
This position is responsible for creating tools which facilitate decision-making regarding inventory levels rationalization of slaughter changes in bird size capital expenditures and other decisions that can materially impact profitability. The incumbent must be able to work across divisions BU s and levels of management to deliver timely solutions under pressure. This person must have the ability to drive the creation of global detailed information and then drill to a summary of analytical executive summaries that inform efficient and effective decision-making.
Other responsibilities include business process development to improve short and long-term planning effectiveness, responding to management requests for tools which support the supply chain planning process, and creating and distribution of supply chain reports.
REQUIREMENTS :
Education : Bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience : 8 plus years of experience required; industry experience in supply chain sales or operations preferred.
Computer Skills : Advanced knowledge of Tyson business applications MS Office Data visualization tools Power BI Tableau.
Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
Travel : 6 plus domestic trips per year.
