Job Details : SUMMARY :
This position is responsible for coordinating and maintaining all activities duties and responsibilities that will successfully increase fresh beef and pork sales with specific customer assignment(s); including but not limited to managing all aspects of Tyson Case Ready product specifications, analyzing primal optimization as it relates to yields and merchandising, working assigned customer(s) in all aspects of fresh Case Ready business to increase market share, and building sales of new products, addressing and at times investigating to resolution, claims when applicable. Regular face to face meetings with customer is to be expected and managed in coordination with the assigned sales team as applicable, and assisting in yield tests in the CRVA facilities as required and analyzing test results relating to cost to produce, and will at times require cutting and trimming meat for purposes of demonstration, tests and merchandising options. This position will necessitate entrance into U.S.D.A inspected facilities as well as customer's distribution centers to conducting process and product reviews and audits for assigned retail accounts. This position will require familiarity with all packaging types, film, trays, soaker pads and all aspects of finished Case Ready products as it relates to the customer(s).
REQUIREMENTS :
Education : A Bachelor s degree is preferred.
Experience : 5 plus years' experience in the fresh beef and pork industry in the areas of meat sales, meat merchandising, foodservice sales or wholesale fresh meats operations.
Computer Skills : Excellent computer skills; All Microsoft office skills including but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Communication Skills : Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong group presentation skills.
Special Skills : Beef and pork merchandising presenting to individual customers or larger groups which may require using knives, band saws, or meat grinder.
Travel : travel required includes regular automobile and air travel as the job requires. Visiting assigned customer(s) regularly for business reviews and accompanying the customer in the CRVA facilities as it relates to their business and products.
