Job Details : SUMMARY :
As a Community Liaison, you will be the vital link between our organization and the Team Members. Your role involves establishing and maintaining positive relationships, acting as a mediator between the company and team members, and serving as a liaison between the community resources available and our team members. You will represent the company positively with community leaders and collaborate with local schools and other local resources to facilitate a smooth transition for our Team Members into the community. Your efforts will foster a strong, mutually beneficial partnership and support effective decision-making.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Build symbolic relationships with our Team Members, community organizations and resources.
- Facilitate access to Tyson programs (TIP, 1 2, Well-Being and others as assigned)
- Drive participation in literacy programs to enhance functional, cultural and digital literacy.
- Develop and implement programs that eliminate social ills such as housing accessibility, transportation and childcare.
- Develop and create community events (internal and external) for all Team Members, including an annual fair to make them aware of community resources.
- Manage the plant level sponsorship and donations program for local community giving.
- Developing and executing community outreach strategies to build strong relationships and promote the organization's initiatives and Team Member needs.
- Collaborating with the other departments within the organization to ensure that community feedback and concerns are addressed appropriately.
- Attending meetings, events and to represent the organization and connect with community stakeholders.
- Prepare and deliver informational presentations and supplemental training.
- Prepare monthly reports on resources utilized and team members assisted.
- Maintaining social media / information boards and internal beekeeper platform ensuring that Team Members and the community are well-informed about upcoming events and initiatives.
REQUIREMENTS :
Preference given to internal qualified candidates currently employed at this facility followed by candidates from other Tyson facilities then external candidates.
