Job Overview
The Continuous Improvement Leader is responsible for driving a strong culture of continuous improvement across the facility. This individual will deliver training and actions to achieve operational excellence, serving as the Subject Matter Expert on Continuous Improvement. They will provide direction to Production Team Members Engineers and Functional Leaders throughout the facility.
This role requires a strategic thinker who can facilitate successful Kaizen and rapid improvement process events, assist in data collection, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Lean manufacturing principles and techniques, with experience in developing strategies and programs that improve productivity and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
• Facilitate successful Kaizen and rapid improvement process events
• Assist in the collection of data identifying opportunities and tracking improvements
• Ensure compliance with established safety and environmental standards
• Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity and efficiency
• Instruct others in continuous process improvements, including problem-solving techniques such as process mapping, standardized work, six sigma, and cost time management
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 5 years of demonstrated Continuous Improvement experience, or 5 years of leadership experience in a lean manufacturing environment
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred
• Strong communication and coaching skills
