Job Details:
Feed Mill Dispatcher/ Floater - 2nd shift
Pay Rate: $23.45/ Hourly
- $1.00 for Night Premium
- $1.00 for Attendance incentive.
- Data Accuracy: Accurately record data to ensure precision in all operations.
- Ingredient Management: Operate scales and document incoming ingredients through our ticketing system.
- Equipment Operation: Unload feed ingredients and route them to the appropriate storage silos using our equipment.
- System Management: Operate computerized pelleting and batching systems to batch, pellet, and route finished feed based on run schedules.
- Quality Assurance: Obtain and run quality analysis on required incoming ingredients.
- Physical Tasks: Lift and use hand tools to assist in unloading ingredients and perform minor maintenance duties.
- Loading Operations: Operate loading equipment to ensure the correct feed type is loaded and sent to the correct farm.
- Task Flexibility: Organize and prioritize tasks throughout the day to adapt to changing demands.
- Inventory Management: Take feed bin inventory as needed.
- Environmental Adaptability: Work in various environments, including hot, dry, dusty, wet, and cold conditions with heavy exposure to ingredient dust and inclement weather.
- Work Schedule: 2nd Shift, 2 pm to 10:30 pm Monday thru Friday. Work holidays, weekends, and flexible hours as required based on demand scheduling.
- Safety Compliance: Work in elevated areas and follow all safety procedures.
- Biosecurity Adherence: Sign and abide by the Company Biosecurity Guidelines, including avoiding any avian species.
- Housekeeping: Maintain good housekeeping, including service areas.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with all levels of Operations, including Customers and Vendors, both orally and in writing where required.
- Health and Safety: Follow and operate within all Tyson Health and Safety protocols.
- Physical Capability: Lift up to 60 lbs. and/or up to 100 lbs. with assistance; sustain physical activity throughout the day.
- Additional Tasks: Complete all other tasks assigned by management.
- Minimum of 6 months of continuous employment with their previous employer.
- Must include resume for consideration.
- Prior Tyson workers must complete a 90-day rehire wait period before being considered for the role.
- Prior Tyson workers will not be considered for the position after having work 3 times or more for Tyson Foods.
