Job Details:

This position is responsible for entry level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. This position could work in any department of the Processing, Harvest or Rendering facility. Tasks include standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting (up to 40 lbs) and reaching. This position can work in a hot, humid environment or cold, damp environment and slippery surfaces. Must be willing to stand or walk on hard floors 8 – 10 hours a day.

ATTENTION

Processing: These positions will involve use of a knife and hook to bone out or trim large pieces of product or involve the use of powered equipment such as saws or skinner machines.

Harvest: These positions will involve use of a knife and hook to remove the hide from the cattle, trim large pieces of product or run heavy pieces of equipment. Some positions may involve the use of powered equipment such as air knives, whizard knives, saws, steam vacs and skinner machines.

Requirements:

Must be willing to perform position tasks. In addition, must be available to work all shifts, including weekends and available for overtime.

The Joslin Facility is not accepting rehires at this time.
