Summary:
This position will be located in Cincinnati, Ohio.
This position is responsible for selling Retail Packaged Meat products, increasing market share, and maintaining strong customer relations with Kroger. The role requires navigating the buyer network and stakeholders within Kroger to maximize volume potential and profitability while upholding Tyson’s standard of providing high-quality products with excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective strategic joint business plans to deliver against KPIs.
- Effectively and efficiently manage customer trade investment.
- Act as the primary selling interface with key decision-makers.
- Sell new items and expand core distribution.
- Identify opportunities to grow volume and increase share.
- Champion cross-functional resources to successfully implement key strategies and execute with excellence.
- Deliver a best-in-class partnership experience through effective communication.
- Partner with teammates to create and share best practices.
- Solve problems independently and proactively.

Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
- Experience: 5 years sales experience in the CPG industry; knowledge of Kroger preferred.
- Computer Skills: Basic computer skills required.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Special Skills: Project management and/or strategic planning experience required.
- Travel: 8 trips per year.
