SUMMARY: This position is responsible for inventory control in the storeroom as well as receiving and storing supplies maintenance supplies and miscellaneous receivers. This position is a lead position and assists the supervisor in managing team members and schedules and is also responsible for assisting others in the parts room and ensuring work is completed accurately and timely. Other duties include maintain inventories in the system; complete part requisitions and purchase orders; assigning vendor Tyson numbers and ensuring parts are in proper bins with proper minimum maximum levels; expedite parts and purchase orders; manage the storeroom in the absence of the Supervisor; other duties tasks assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: GED or High School diploma preferred.
Experience: Prefer experience in maintenance or parts room.
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills: proficiency in Microsoft office SAP required.
Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate effectively to employees, management, and suppliers.
Special Skills: Ability to read and write; possess basic math skills; ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift objects weighing 50 pounds occasional.
