Yard Driver Opr- 2nd (D Crew) Shift / Center Tx

Job Details:

This position pays $18.05/hr with a $1.00 shift increase for 2nd Shift.

Team member Hauls trailers to and from the live/shipping dock. As the live poultry has entered the grounds the yard truck driver is responsible for picking the load up in a timely manner, weighing the live poultry trailer, and placing it in the holding shed. Yard drivers are also responsible for moving trailer on the yard to their designated and necessary locations. On-Property Driver is responsible for the movement and spotting of trailers to facilitate the needs of the plant in sorting and processing material(s) for shipment or storage. Driver is responsible for timely movements and thorough knowledge of on-hand trailer pool and positioning. Must have the ability to acknowledge and recognize hazards on the property; vehicle traffic areas; pedestrian traffic areas; proper load/cargo securement; maximum speed limits; and safe docking operations.

Requirements

The Applicant Must have at least Six (6) months’ work experience with a single employer within the last 12 months

3 x Rule: If you have worked for Tyson Foods 3 or more times you are not eligible for rehire.

Rehire waiting period: 181-days.
