Position Responsibilities
Enhance database performance using various techniques such as indexing, query optimization, and efficient database design.
Collaborate closely with application development teams to ensure peak application performance.
Participate in critical systems' high availability and disaster recovery testing.
Ensure meticulous backup of databases and database objects, with tested and documented recovery procedures.
Support database applications, including upgrading and patching database management systems.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
8 years of experience with the DB2-LUW Management System.
Strong proficiency in replication technologies (e.g., CDC, Attunity) alongside a foundational understanding of data modeling.
Ability to work independently and mentor the database administration team effectively.
