To qualify based on your work experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as: 1) Conducting vulnerability scans to identify vulnerabilities in security systems; 2) Applying cybersecurity and/or privacy principles to organizational requirements (relevant to confidentiality, integrity, availability, authentication, non-repudiation); 3) Designing countermeasures to identified security risks; and 4) Conducting audits or reviews of technical systems. AND Specialized experience includes, or was supplemented by, information technology related experience (paid or unpaid experience and/or completion of specific, intensive training, as appropriate) which demonstrates each of the four competencies, as defined: (1) Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. Job Description
- Serve as a Senior Information Systems Security Developer.
- Implement security designs for new or existing system(s).
- Incorporate cybersecurity vulnerability solutions into system designs.
- Ensure that security design and cybersecurity development activities are properly documented and updated.
- Oversee the design, implementation, testing, and evaluation of secure interfaces between information systems, physical systems, and/or embedded technologies.
- Design hardware, operating systems, and software applications to adequately address cybersecurity requirements.
- Develop and submit a cybersecurity plan.
- Recommend appropriate security controls for an acquisition program.
