What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supervisory Budget Analyst position at U.S. Army Counterintelligence Command?
Duties:
Periodically reviews position structure of the organization supervised to ensure that positions are established to promote optimum balance between economy, efficiency and utilization of skills.
Advises the Commander, the command group , and functional managers on matters pertaining to the financial management and force structure.
Identifies and analyzes trends in the receipt, obligations, or expenditures of funds to ensure that objectives of the annual financial plan.
Assigns work among employees and provides expert direction for analytical agenda.

Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
Two year trial/probationary period may be required.
In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
Must be willing to undergo and successfully complete a counterintelligence-scope polygraph examination with No Deception Indicated (NDI) on a pre-appointment and periodic basis.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance based on a T5 (or equivalent level) investigation with eligibility for sensitive compartmented information (SCI).
Must be able to travel up to 15% of the time both CONUS and OCONUS.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid state drivers license.
Must be able to pass the Army Defensive Drivers Training Course.

Specialized experience is progressively responsible intelligence-related security work directly related to the position being filled. Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector or in another government agency as long as it was at a level at least equivalent to the next lower band in the series.
To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as experience that demonstrates a practical knowledge of budget administration principles and objectives that includes budget estimation, formulation, justification and execution as demonstrated by performance of all of the following: 1).experience planning, executing, reporting, analyzing, monitoring, and reviewing a comprehensive financial program involving annual, enhancement, and multi-year fund programs; 2) supporting current and long-range foreign counterintelligence/counterespionage operations worldwide; AND 3) evaluating program effectiveness by reviewing reports, and discussion with subordinates.
This definition of specialize experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level in the Federal service (GG/GS- 12).
