Summary About the Position : This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the HQDA, INTEL SUPPORT ACTIVITY, DCS G-2, INFO MANAGEMENT DIRECTORATE, PENTAGON, ARLINGTON, VA. Responsibilities Conduct management of Enterprise Architecture and strategic planning for Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff, G-2, Intel IT Portfolio Management Div, Intel Community Info Management Directorate systems. Aligns and manages Army MI domain enterprise architecture and systems engineering activities. Provides technical and architecture subject matter expertise and systems analysis support for Army MI Domain networks, including cloud computing implementation activities, migration planning and execution. Performs development of Army MI Domain IT / network / cloud computing policy and governance, to include integrating all aspects of IT, data, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and portfolio management efforts. Provides expert advice and resolves complex problems associated with, major programs and initiatives to include system design, system development, standardization, sustainment, and integration of systems. Conducts strategic analyses and assessments for future network, and cloud computing priorities, strategic direction, technology planning, resource allocation, development, and fielding of cloud management missions and functions. Specialized experience is defined as experience in 1) Management and strategic planning of Enterprise System and Network Architecture, 2) MI Domains Architecture oversight, and / or 3) Systems Engineering. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade / level position in the federal service (GG / GS-13). Specialized experience includes, or was supplemented by, information technology related experience (paid or unpaid experience and / or completion of specific, intensive training, as appropriate) which demonstrates each of the four competencies, as defined : (1) Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail.
