Job Description

Revenue Strategy - Industry Solutions role defines gaps, opportunities, and competitive differentiation to expand our product capabilities for Business Banking customers, with a focus on identified customer segments. Guide the organization through build, buy, and partnership opportunities to retain and enhance competitive advantage while accelerating our velocity to market.

In this role you will :

  • Scan the market

Analyze start-up deal flow to identify tech acceleration opportunities and mitigate against unplanned disruption.

  • Assess tech maturity of off-the-shelf solutions.
  • Analyze the competition
  • Assess internal capabilities and capacities against external partnership or acquisition offers.

  • Benchmark capabilities to peer banks and fintech providers.
  • Assess opportunities within U.S. Bank product set
  • Evaluate product fit against customer needs and market competitiveness.

  • Recommend new products, enhancements, or interconnectivity between products.
  • Align within appropriate product roadmaps.
  • Accelerate revenue drivers
  • Define the business model and case for new products and services.

  • Test and validate assumptions while creating a sensitivity analysis for key drivers.
  • Facilitate the definition of the commercial launch and go-to-market strategy.
  • Define the target state, commercial partnership construct, options, and success criteria for partner engagements.
  • Drive to successful product and partnership investments and outcomes in a matrixed execution environment.
  • Basic Qualifications

  • Master's degree, or equivalent work experience.
  • 10 or more years of experience in project management activities.
  • Two or more years of managerial experience.
  • Preferred Skills / Experience

  • Background in fostering an environment of innovation and customer centricity, institutionalizing agile innovation practices, and a customer insight to action culture.
  • Demonstrated management and leadership skills, with experience in a matrixed environment and ability to influence and drive work across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, with ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to analyze data.
  • Experience with fintech and corporate product and payments partnerships.
  • 5 years' experience with strategy and product development, consulting, business planning and future visioning.
  • Payments, banking, or SMB software expertise.
  • Strong presentational, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • The role offers a hybrid / flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

    The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range : $133,365.00 - $156,900.00 - $172,590.00
