Job Description

U.S. Bank is seeking a full-time Senior Software Engineer - Front-End REACT (Multiple openings) in Hopkins, MN.

Essential Responsibilities:

Lead front-end building of unified onboarding platform to streamline/automate the onboarding process for Wealth, Corporate, Commercial and Institutional business lines. Clients will interact digitally using this application to provide data and documents needed to complete the onboarding process. Data and documents collected from the clients will be available to the employee teams to complete downstream account setup steps as well as integration with various enterprise capabilities and Systems of Record. Specific duties and responsibilities include:

• Responsible for designing, developing, testing, operating and maintaining onboarding solution for corporate segment business lines.
• Working with Micro Frontend architecture, expose form components using module federation in React to share components, code, and dependencies between different projects.
• Provide oversight to offshore team with day-to-day design decisions, implementation challenges.
• Develop and publish reusable components as NPM packages.
• Deploy the applications in various environments using Gitlab, Jenkins CI/CD, and Docker.
• Review merge requests (MR) and offer guidance on the codebase.
• Collaborate with platform teams to address specific business line requirements.
• Demonstrate platform capabilities to stakeholders through POCs.
• Working with cloud platforms such as Rancher to deploy applications to environments such as development, testing, UAT and production, as well as configure environmental variables of the project.

The Senior Software Engineer - Front-End REACT will use the following technologies to perform the duties of the position: HTML5, CSS3, React JS, Native React, NodeJS, SCSS, JavaScript libraries, higher-order component, Styled Component, Pure component, Profilers, Hooks, API integration with GraphQL, REST APIs, Sitecat tagging for Tag management analytics see test, penetration testing, load testing, frontend development tools including Babel, Webpack, NPM, code management and build deployments using Gitlab, Jenkins CI/CD, and Docker. Position will supervise offshore and onshore contractors. Multiple positions available.

Basic Qualifications:

This position requires a Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Technology and 3 years of front end REACT software development experience.

Required Skills/Experience:

Must also have 24 months of experience with each of the following: 1) Building enterprise scale frontend applications using HTML5, CSS3, React JS, Native React, NodeJS, SCSS, and JavaScript libraries. 2) Creating higher-order component, Styled Component, Pure component, Profilers, and Hooks. 3) API integration with GraphQL, REST APIs, Sitecat tagging for Tag management analytics see test, penetration testing, and load testing. 4) Frontend development tools including Babel, Webpack, and NPM. 5) Code management and build deployments using Gitlab, Jenkins CI/CD, and Docker. Will accept experience gained before, during or after Master's program. Employer will accept experience gained concurrently.
