As a Fire Protection Engineer, you will serve as a technical expert in the Fire Protection Engineering Branch of the Safety and Environmental Management Division of the National Capital Region.
This position is located in General Services Administration (GSA), Public Buildings Service (PBS) of the National Capital Region (NCR).
We are currently filling one vacancy, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.

The GS-13 salary range starts at $120,579.00 per year. If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE : In addition to the Basic Requirements listed above, you must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as knowledge of fire protection engineering concepts, principles & practices applicable to the full range of engineering duties concerned with providing a safe environment for buildings and operations by resolving fire protection and life safety problems.
