Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI) is the premier certification body responsible for global delivery and quality oversight of green building and green business sustainability standards. Its integrated team of green building specialists administers credentials and certifications for the U.S. Green Building Council (LEED), the International WELL Building Institute (WELL Building Standard), International Finance Corporation (EDGE), PEER, Sustainable SITES, TRUE Zero Waste, and IREE.
The Associate, Talent Management is part of the HR team and is responsible for coordinating training programs, helping to deliver learning initiatives, and supporting professional development across the organization. This position involves planning and scheduling training sessions, maintaining training materials, liaising with external providers, and ensuring compliance with regulatory training requirements. Additionally, this role tracks professional development, is first tier support for technical issues in the Talent Management space and facilitates the renewal of mandatory training.
Specific Responsibilities

Specific Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and scheduling of training programs and workshops
- Coordinate logistics for training sessions, arrange materials, and manage registration
- Regularly assess and update training materials and resources
- Ensure all training materials are accessible to employees/managers
- Assist in conducting training needs analysis to determine specific training requirements
- Assist in design and development of training content and materials
- Liaise with external training providers and vendors to schedule and coordinate external training programs when necessary
- Track and report on key engagement metrics, such as participation rates, feedback from training participants, and effectiveness of programs
- Process and track professional development requests for employees
- Serve as first tier technical support for Linkedin Learning administration and ADP in relation to goals and performance
- Assist with performance review/improvement plan logistics and documentation
- Monitor talent dashboards
- Maintain talent management calendar and project plans
- Maintain training records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Implement new and organize renewal of mandatory training
- Bachelor’s degree
- 1-2 years of experience in learning/training coordination in a corporate environment
- Intermediate knowledge of using Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint
- Strong skills in communication (interpersonal, written and presentation), dealing with ambiguity and ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment
- Demonstrated professionalism and able to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong sense of personal responsibility and accountability for delivering high quality work within set deadlines
- Attention to detail
- This position does not currently supervise staff.
- Full Time, permanent, benefits eligible
- Location: Remote or hybrid position in Washington, DC headquarters.
- Hours: Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm EST, 40 hours per week, occasional evenings.
- Travel – upon request and approval.

Salary : $52,000 - $62,000
