Summary
This position is part of the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC), Office of Development Policy (ODP), Environmental and Social (E&S) Risk Assessment Division. The Director, Environmental and Social Monitoring Systems (Supervisory Environmental and Social Monitoring Specialist) serves as a first-level supervisor and provides technical expertise in data science and management for improved data and E&S risk management outcomes.

Qualifications
Applicants must meet all eligibility and qualification requirements no later than the closing date of this announcement. You may qualify at the GS-14 level, if you fulfill the following qualification requirement: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service that demonstrates your ability to 1) Develop or implement policies, processes, standard operating procedures and/or protocols for collecting, analyzing, visualizing, and storing non-technical risk data; 2) Serve as a liaison between IT/platform developers and analysts and/or clients to develop and implement a functional data platform; and 3) Lead, train and/or mentor others. Note: Education is not substitutional at this grade level. Please Note: Applicants may be asked to produce a writing sample during the interview stage. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
