Position Summary
As a Litigation Consultant, you will develop, organize, and present research studies using principles of social science, objective observation, and quantitative analysis. You will support senior staff by moderating focus groups, analyzing data, creating graphical presentations, writing detailed research analyses, and contributing to strategic recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and conduct social science research projects, including moderating focus groups.
- Analyze quantitative data using SPSS and present findings in a clear, engaging manner.
- Draft and edit research reports and create visually compelling PowerPoint presentations.
- Train junior staff in research design, setup, and report-writing.
- Perform juror interviews and conduct social media searches.
- Collaborate with trial teams and corporate clients to deliver strategic insights.
- Travel nationwide to support research projects (approximately 15–20% travel).
- Be open to training in jury selection and witness preparation.
Qualifications
- Exceptional writing, speaking, and presentation skills.
- Creative problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking.
- Strong understanding of social science research methodologies.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and responsiveness to feedback.
- Advanced degree preferred (PhD or Master's in Social Sciences, Psychology, Communications, or a JD).
