THIS JOB POSITION REQUIRES ENLISTMENT INTO THE UNITED STATES NAVY
The United States Navy is seeking highly skilled and motivated IT Technicians to join our ranks and ensure the highest level of technical support and cybersecurity for our naval operations. As an IT Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing the Navy’s critical information technology systems to support operational readiness. This is an exciting and challenging opportunity to work with state-of-the-art technology and help safeguard national security.
Key Responsibilities :
Install, maintain, and repair IT hardware and software systems.
Provide technical support to Navy personnel on various IT issues, including networking, security, and system administration.
Monitor and troubleshoot systems and networks to ensure continuous, secure operations.
Configure and maintain Navy communications systems, including satellite and wireless technologies.
Perform routine maintenance, software updates, and security patches to ensure systems are current and protected.
Assist in implementing cybersecurity policies and procedures to safeguard classified and unclassified data.
Work as part of a team to manage Navy IT infrastructure both in garrison and in field operations.
Respond to IT service requests and provide timely solutions under pressure.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent
U.S. citizenship or Green card holder
Must be willing to relocate and work in various locations, including remote and overseas assignments.
