Your role in helping us shape the future:
U.S. News empowers everyone to thrive. In this position you will have the opportunity to
leverage your strengths and skills to support multiple areas with marketing and production
support, including events, community development and sales.
You’ll support company-wide initiatives by marketing our events, creating compelling sales
presentations, and managing community outreach efforts. This role requires a mix of creativity,
organization, and strong communication skills to effectively engage our audience and enhance
our brand visibility.
Are you up to the challenge?
We’re looking for someone who is highly creative, organized and nimble with a growth mindset
to:
- Create marketing materials and promotional campaigns.
- Develop visually engaging sales presentations using Canva or other graphic design tools.
- Support community outreach programs to strengthen brand awareness and engagement.
- Craft, organize and manage advertising and event email campaigns.
- Support the organization and execution of events, including registration, logistics, vendor coordination, and promotional activities.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to ideate and create consistent brand marketing materials, including updating and maintaining the Media Kit.
- Manage our onsite house advertising inventory to promote our internal products.
- Create monthly audience and traffic reports for the sales and events teams.
- Track and analyze marketing efforts to measure effectiveness and improve strategies.
- Maintain relationships with key community partners and stakeholders.
- Assist with other marketing and administrative tasks as needed.
You should definitely have:
- One to three years of marketing or related experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proficiency in Canva or other graphic design software.
- Proficiency in Google office programs (Gmail, Docs, Slides, Sheets)
- Strong writing and editing skills for marketing content and sales materials.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
It would be nice if you had:
- Experience with Sailthru Marketing Automation
- Experience in event planning and coordination
