Your role in helping us shape the future :
U.S. News empowers everyone to thrive. In this position, you will partner with the sales team to grow our direct advertising business. Reporting into the Director, Sales Strategy, this role will serve as a key member of the advertising team managing the pre-sale and RFP process.
Successful candidates will have knowledge and a passion for digital media, strong attention to detail and the ability to bring ideas to life through presentations.
Are you up to the challenge?
- Manage a team of Sales Planners responsible for preparing advertising proposals including but not limited to providing clients with research, rates, inventory availability and creative specifications.
- Develop a strong understanding of the full suite of U.S. News ad products and capabilities while also thinking creatively about new solutions to meet RFP requirements.
- Support the sales process and assist in moving the sale from RFP to Insertion Order.
- Ensure that the team is managing deadlines and meeting client expectations.
- Lead RFP meetings to brainstorm ideas that match our client objectives and KPIs.
- Attend sales calls as needed to assist the sales team in pitching our proposal.
- Stay on top of innovations and industry best practices.
- Responsible for creating compelling sales materials and presentations to be used by the sales team.
