Job Overview:
- We are seeking a talented and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Home Therapy Registered Nurse. This role involves providing patient training and ongoing support for patients choosing home dialysis modalities.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing care, with experience in providing training and education to patients and caregivers. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure that our patients receive the highest quality care and achieve optimal outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality patient care and education on peritoneal dialysis and hemodialysis procedures
- Assess patient environment and provide guidance on proper equipment use during home visits
- Maintain accurate documentation of all nursing services in electronic medical records
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements:
- Active RN licensure in applicable state
- 12 months of clinical experience in nursing care, with 3 months of experience in specific modality
- Previous experience in providing care to patients on maintenance dialysis preferred
- CPR certification required prior to patient care assignment
