Position Description
This position will support the day-to-day campaign execution, stewardship, and administration of the Circle Insiders, Annual Fund, Alumni Program, and general Individual Giving revenue generating programs. This includes, but is not limited to, support as assigned with renewals, appeals, acquisitions, acknowledgements, match day activations, events, cultivation and stewardship.  In addition, this position will support the World Cup ticketing, coordination, planning and delivery for Circle Insiders and general support to World Cup activities within the Advancement Department. The Coordinator, Individual Giving’s primary responsibilities will be:

Primary Responsibilities
  • Support Circle Insiders program, including but not limited to; financial goals, renewals, appeals/acquisitions,  acknowledgement, events, cultivation and stewardship
  • Support Annual Fund campaign management, including but not limited to; appeals and acknowledgement
  • Support World Cup ticketing coordination, planning, and delivery for Circle Insiders, and provide general support to World Cup activities, as needed, within the Advancement Department. 
  • Provide logistical and administrative support for portfolio-related match-day special events and programs, including preparation and on-site support as needed
  • As assigned, responsible for monthly reporting, tracking revenue and benefits 
  • Participation and support in high-access fan experiences, attend special events, and support new development initiatives
  • Collaborate cross departmentally in maintaining Salesforce, cataloguing relationships, participation and interests in U.S. Soccer development initiatives
  • Provide best-in-class customer service support for U.S. Soccer donors and fans within the Circle Insiders and Annual Fund portfolio
  • Up to 25% travel to matches and other programming related to Circle Insiders
  • Flexibility to attend matches and events on nights/weekends
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Strong organizational skills 
  • Exceptional attention to detail 
  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint programs 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with a professional demeanor
  • Takes initiative with department and organizational goals in mind
  • Interest in working on a team in a collaborative environment
  • Interest in fundraising and development
  • Passion for growing soccer in the United States

Desired Qualifications   
  • Previous event support experience
  • Ability to innovate—examples of strategic thinking and strategy implementation
  • Demonstrate openness to change and an evolving workplace
  • Database management and experience with Salesforce
