Essential Duties and Responsibilities : The essential duties and responsibilities of this job are included but not limited to this job description other tasks may be assigned and expected to be performed.
- Manage projects that will deliver savings year over year. Track performance
- Identify and facilitate process improvement projects, training / workshops to drive cultural change.
- Conduct root cause analysis to determine metrics, troubleshoot manufacturing / business issues, material flow, project plans, production capacity, and create process documentation.
- Lead, train and coach cross functional teams to implement cost savings programs and embrace lean culture change.
- Interface with manufacturing personnel to improve existing processes, increase safety and solve any ergonomic concerns.
- Use creativity and innovative approaches to solve complex problems.
- Facilitate Kaizen events.
- Implement 5S, SMED, Value Stream Mapping and Standard Work Projects.
- Other tasks / functions as assigned.
