About this role:
The HR Business Partner will be responsible for overseeing daily operations of the Human Resources Department. This position will be tasked with strategic planning for staffing, employee relations, performance management, and employee development. This position is essential for business success and will promote corporate values by developing HR strategies and initiatives that align with the overall business strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
· Talent Acquisition & Recruiting
o Manage the location's recruiting process for production, administration, and management positions. This includes temporary, temp to perm, and full-time positions as well as internal promotions and transfers.
o Collaborate with department managers to understand staffing needs.
o Manage the full recruitment process, including new hire orientations as frequently as it is needed.
o Build and maintain relationships with local job boards, staffing agencies, and universities to develop a strong talent pipeline.
o Track and report on key recruiting metrics, such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and quality of hire.
o Responsible for all aspects of staffing, retention, and compliance for assigned side of the facility.
o Maintain location’s staffing grid to track needs accurately.
· People & Culture Strategy Development
- Work closely with senior leadership to design and implement people strategies aligned with business goals.
- Plan, develop, and execute company events throughout the year.
- Assist in developing and refining the company's organizational culture to ensure it fosters employee engagement, teamwork, and innovation.
- Establish employee engagement initiatives and programs that improve morale, retention, and job satisfaction.
· Onboarding & Employee Experience
- Help oversee the execution of a comprehensive onboarding program for new hires to ensure smooth integration into the company culture.
- Provide ongoing support for employees and managers, ensuring a positive, productive workplace experience.
- Promote healthy work culture to improve team member retention
· Training & Development
- Design and implement training programs that support employee skill development, leadership growth, and compliance.
- Be flexible with working hours to accommodate for trainings, events, or pre-planned meetings.
- Work with managers to identify training needs and ensure employees have the tools and resources they need to succeed in their roles.
- Create career development plans for high-potential employees to nurture their growth within the company.
· Performance Management & Employee Relations
- Partner with department leaders to implement and manage a performance management process that aligns with company goals and objectives.
- Provide guidance and support to managers on employee performance, feedback, and disciplinary actions.
- Act as a trusted advisor to employees, addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and promoting a positive work environment.
- Complete and/or manage all internal changes in HR system. This includes pay rate changes, direct deposit, tax forms, beneficiary changes, address changes, position changes, schedule changes, benefit changes etc.
· Compliance & Reporting
- Work closely with Benefits, Payroll, and Compliance manager to ensure compliance in all areas.
- Manage the location’s return to work process
- Assist with any additional projects as assigned by leadership.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR data in compliance with company policy and legal requirements.
- Prepare HR-related reports for leadership, tracking key metrics such as turnover, headcount, and employee satisfaction.
- Respond to Unemployment claims for terminated team members.
- Help ensure compliance of the location's ADA and Reasonable Accommodation process.
Qualifications:
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience as manager leading an HR team, with at least 2 years in a manufacturing environment or similar industry.
- Bi-lingual (Spanish) REQUIRED.
- Proven experience in recruiting, employee relations, performance management, and training and development with a company in high growth phase.
- Experience with HR software (HRIS) and talent management systems.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
