What are the responsibilities and job description for the Digital Advertising Analyst position at U.S. Xpress, Inc.?
The Digital Advertising Marketing Analyst is responsible for providing digital media advertising marketing support to the driver recruiting division of U.S. Xpress. The Analyst ensures generation of inbound traffic for the driver recruiting team by managing advertising vendors, overseeing lead generation and reporting, ad budget control, and enhancing SEO efforts.
Position Functions:
Vendor and Agency Management includes holding agency accountable to departmental initiatives of cost savings and lead quality, 'speaking their language,' and challenging them.
Develop and send weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end lead/advertising reporting (out of data the Analyst controls).
Advertising campaign management includes collaborating with the internal marketing team to manage creative and copy needs for Company Driver, Dedicated, Teams, Reefer, etc. campaigns that JG is running. Recommends when refreshes are needed, monitor lead performance by campaign.
Manage Origins - bucketing new referrers and sources, making changes where needed.
Website content management for driver careers pages including deletion, addition, edits, and revamps.
Website analytics, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports.
Revamp all Tenstreet drip marketing, refresh messaging, and creative.
Managing ad budget includes developing internal ad budget tracking sheet - partnering with JG to be aligned on changes.
Ramp up Academy or Student website content.
Search Engine Optimization (SEO) blog, develop content ideas for the blog, collaborating with the advertising agency internal marketing team.
Manage drip campaigns, email, text campaign, and lead nurturing.
Pull calls for advertising channels.
Monitor lead quality by ad channel. Be point person for recruiters to provide feedback on quality of leads in addition to reporting.
Create tracking phone numbers in tool.
Create third-party Mailchimp email campaigns. Collaborate with the internal marketing team.
Run text blasts with third party tools.
Ensure agency is A/B Testing copy.
Main point person for KNX advertising synergy meetings.
Send Sitting Leads Reporting or New/Reapply report to the recruiting team for untouched leads, audit and look into files.
Identify high duplicate ad channels, pulling YTD lead reporting to get a bigger picture of duplication or lead recycling from vendors.
Be the internal connection for recruiting team and internal marketing team to ensure they are supporting advertising for creative needs.
Manage advertising 'driver advocate' list scheduling driver photoshoots for ad needs.
- Collaborate in-person with all levels of the organization to harness collective intelligence of the workforce.
- Attend all in-person meetings and trainings on recent developments, goals, and objectives. Participate in such discussions by offering input and advice.
- Regularly engage remotely and in-person with customers and potential customers to establish rapport, open communication, and expectations.
What We’re Looking For:
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field or equivalent experience required
- Equivalent years of experience are defined as one year of professional experience for each year of college requested
Experience
- 1-3 years of marketing/digital marketing experience in recruiting required
- Work samples required
- Experience working with or for a creative agency a plus
Transportation, Logistics, and/or Tech experience a plus

Salary : $47,300 - $65,000
