Sr. Corporate Warrant and Parts Manager will oversee and lead our company's warranty and parts operations at a corporate level. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing effective strategies, processes, and policies to optimize warranty management, parts inventory, and vendor relationships across our organization.

Sr. Corporate Warrant and Parts Manager will oversee and lead our company's warranty and parts operations at a corporate level. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing effective strategies, processes, and policies to optimize warranty management, parts inventory, and vendor relationships across our organization.
- Develop and implement comprehensive warranty management strategies and policies utilizing industry trends.
- Oversee the development of parts warranty policies and procedures to maximize cost recovery.
- Manage the team by providing guidance, mentoring, and performance feedback while fostering a collaborative and results-oriented team environment, promoting innovation and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with HR in recruitment, onboarding, and development of talent within the warranty and parts function.
- Monitor and analyze warranty/parts data, reports, and trends to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction utilizing methods that include root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure warranty compliance and adherence to manufacturer requirements.
- Establish and maintain parts procurement processes along with strong relationships with manufacturers, suppliers, and vendors to negotiate favorable warranty terms and policies.
- Oversee warranty claim processing and ensure timely and accurate reimbursement for services and parts.
- Oversee the investigation and resolution of warranty-related issues and disputes as needed.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize parts inventory control levels and distribution to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate forecasting of parts demand and minimize stockouts or excess inventory.
- Monitor parts usage, failure trends, and chronic repair to identify opportunities for engineering improvements in parts selection, quality, and performance.
- Implement systems and tools to track parts inventory, usage, and costs for accurate reporting and analysis.
- Establish performance metrics and goals for the team, and regularly monitor and evaluate performance against targets.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure reliable and cost-effective parts sourcing.
- Negotiate and manage vendor contracts, pricing, terms, and service levels to identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and product innovations.
- Monitor vendor performance, including quality, delivery, and customer service.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. Equivalent years of experience are defined as one year of professional experience for each year of college requested.
- 5 years’ experience in truck or automotive service and/or parts required
- 3 years’ experience in warranty or parts management required
- Solid team leading skills including: team building, leadership and communication
- Experience with Cetaris software beneficial
- Supply and inventory management skills
- Experience in warranty service, data entry, journal billing and payments required
- Strong analytical ability with attention to detail
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of vehicle components
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite products
- Experience with Cetaris software beneficial
- Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma practices
