JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary/Objective

U&T Financial is seeking an office administrator/assistant. This is a great opportunity for those especially interested in financial services. Training in financial planning software will be provided. This is a full-time position, with a starting offer of $28/hour.

Essential Functions

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Assist in the reception area to ensure effective telephone and email communications both internally and externally to maintain professional image.

Participate as needed in special department projects.

Provide support for financial advisors.

Confidential financial data entry in compliance with fiduciary and FINRA rules and regulations.

Generate client reports and financial plans as needed.

Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Strong computer skills
  • Korean language skills preferred but not required
  • Minimum 1 year experience in office administrator/assistant role
  • Minimum 1 year experience working in the financial industry
  • Bachelor's degree (required)

Work Environment & Physical Demands

This job operates in an office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary.

Expected Hours of Work

Normal business hours for U&T Financial are Monday-Friday 8:30AM-4:30PM
