Job Description Position Summary: As part of the central Business Intelligence & Insights team, within the Central Finance Organization, the BI manager will lead the end-to-end development of high-impact BI projects for the North America Zone. We are an agile team working at the intersection of Data, Business, & Design – engaging with many different parts of the business and leveraging a modern tech stack. We are looking for a self-starter who will spearhead BI projects, leading the end-to-end development of data analytics solutions that will enable the business to make better, data-driven decisions, faster. The manager will enjoy being hands-on at each step of the BI product development lifecycle: identifying the opportunities/root causes of business problems, gathering requirements from key business stakeholders and translating those to technical requirements for the data engineers, and then designing, developing & delivering high-impact data visualizations. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver by nature, with a strong combination of business acumen, design, and technical skills, along with a passion for continuous learning. Primary Responsibilities: Partnering with cross-functional stakeholders on the design, development, and maintenance of scalable solutions for ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to support analytical and business needs. Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions. Guiding analysts to execute on project requirements and develop their skills and business knowledge. End to end delivery of BI projects: scoping, planning, developing and delivering Tableau dashboards, maintenance/enhancements, while effectively communicating with team members and management. Using analytical and statistical rigor to answer ad-hoc business questions and drive business decisions. Collaborating with Data Engineers to develop efficient data models with high integrity. Collaborating with business end-users to validate and test solutions and deliver training and documentation. Recommending and developing strategies to improve overall department effectiveness and efficiency; drive improved data quality and consistency across all data solutions. Managing timelines, competing resources, and prioritization. Monitoring usage, surveying end-users on satisfaction, making required enhancements Qualifications: BS in math, finance, engineering, statistics, business or related discipline is required, MBA or master’s degree in a quantitative field preferred 3 years in Business Intelligence / Data Analytics / Management Consulting / CPG Industry Proven analytical and quantitative skills and ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases.
