Position Summary
The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Human Resources Partner Administrator Senior to support the administration of HR-related programs and projects for faculty, staff, and trainees. In this role, you will work closely with an assigned college, school, department, division, center, or institute, coordinating human resources actions and ensuring efficient and accurate processing of paperwork. You will also serve as a liaison between the Office of Human Resources (OHR) and/or the Dean's office, facilitating HR transactional matters. Additionally, this position offers leadership opportunities, where you may supervise, mentor, and train lower-level HR support staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer HR programs and projects for faculty, staff, and trainees within the assigned unit.
- Serve as the primary liaison to the Office of Human Resources and/or the Dean's office for administrative HR matters.
- Coordinate and oversee departmental HR actions, ensuring accurate and timely processing of related paperwork.
- Provide guidance on HR processes, policies, and procedures.
- Supervise, lead, mentor, train, and assign tasks to lower-level HR support staff, fostering a collaborative and effective team environment.
- Address HR-related questions and support ongoing HR needs within the department.
Position Details
- Salary Range: $45,395 - $73,770 (commensurate with experience)
- Work Type: Full-time
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a related field and three (3) years of related experience required. Work experience
may substitute for education requirement.
