Position Summary
The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) is seeking a dedicated Human Resources Partner to support HR-related programs and initiatives for faculty, staff, and trainees. In this dynamic role, you will work within a designated college, school, department, division, center, or institute, collaborating closely with the Office of Human Resources to streamline and improve HR processes. As the key liaison to the Office of Human Resources and/or the Dean's office, you will manage various administrative HR functions, ensuring the smooth coordination of human resources actions and the accurate processing of related paperwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer HR programs and projects to support faculty, staff, and trainees.
- Serve as the main point of contact between assigned units and the Office of Human Resources or Dean's office for HR-related matters.
- Coordinate HR actions within your department, ensuring proper documentation and timely processing.
- Support administrative HR tasks including employee records management, onboarding, and compliance with institutional policies.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve issues and improve HR processes within your assigned area.
Position Details
- Salary Range: $41,175 - $66,915 (commensurate with experience)
- Work Type: Full-time
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
- Experience: At least one (1) year of related experience required.
- Relevant work experience may substitute for the educational requirement.
