Pay Range: $104,045 - $169,075/year

Duties
To manage a team of Healthcare Financial IS staff. To plan and direct all aspects of design, implementation and maintenance of Healthcare Financial information system to effectively apply technology solutions to improve Healthcare Financial operations. To translate the mission, strategic goals and program priorities of the organization into department operations.
Job Specific Duties
System Management and Oversight
- Lead the administration, configuration, and optimization of enterprise-level healthcare financial information systems.
- Ensure systems meet organizational needs, compliance standards, and support financial reporting accuracy.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and oversee upgrades or patches.
- Collaborate with IT and vendor support teams to address and resolve technical issues.
Financial Data Management
- Oversee the integration and maintenance of financial data from clinical and operational systems to ensure accuracy in billing and revenue cycle functions.
- Develop protocols for data validation, reconciliation, and reporting to align with healthcare regulatory requirements.
- Provide analytical insights to support budget planning, forecasting, and financial decision-making.
Team Leadership and Collaboration
- Supervise a team of systems analysts and business analysts that support revenue cycle systems.
- Assign projects, monitor progress, and ensure deliverables align with organizational goals.
- Act as a liaison between finance, IT, and clinical departments to ensure system enhancements support organizational objectives.
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to enhance system functionality to streamline billing, accounts receivable, and other financial workflows.
- Lead initiatives to automate routine financial processes, improve user experience, and reduce operational costs.
- Oversee and create documentation to support optimal financial system workflows.
Project Management
- Manage system implementation or transition projects, including timeline, budget, and resource allocation.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, goals, and deliverables.
- Oversee testing, change management, and rollout processes for system updates or new deployments.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with leadership to develop strategies that align financial systems with long-term organizational goals.
- Translate financial and operational needs into system requirements and actionable solutions.
Provide regular updates and presentations to stakeholders on system performance and project outcomes
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or a related field and eight (8) years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
Key Skills
Deep Knowledge of Epic Modules: Expertise in Epic Resolute Professional and Hospital Billing, Charge Router, Prelude (Registration), Cadence (Scheduling), and MyChart (Patient Portal).
Certification: Epic certification in relevant revenue cycle modules, such as Resolute PB, Resolute HB, or Prelude, is highly preferred.
System Optimization: Ability to configure and optimize Epic revenue cycle workflows to improve billing, claims processing, and collections.
Data Reporting and Analytics: Proficiency in Epic Reporting Workbench, Radar Dashboards, and Clarity/SQL-based reporting tools.
Implementation and Upgrades: Proven experience managing Epic system implementations, upgrades, and optimization projects within the revenue cycle domain.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to work with clinical, IT, finance, and operational stakeholders to ensure revenue cycle alignment with organizational goals.
Change Management: Skilled in driving user adoption and managing change during system updates or workflow transitions.
Supervision of Teams: Experience leading revenue cycle analysts, application specialists, and support teams working on Epic systems.
Performance Management: Monitor team performance, set objectives, and provide mentorship for professional growth.
