They are responsible for ensuring all freight is serviced to meet/exceed the customer’s standards, while also communicating customer needs and changes to the operations teams. They are expected to develop and maintain customer relationships, while achieving company defined operational metrics. The ability to multi-task is key to success in the role.

About The Role

They are expected to develop and maintain customer relationships, while achieving company defined operational metrics. The ability to multi-task is key to success in the role.
What The Candidate Will Do
- Manage customer orders that get tendered over by either accepting or declining within time frame
- Work to schedule appts for those orders based on info provided. Question any issues with order – transit times, product verification, contacts info
- Work with Operations to make sure orders are covered as set up. And if issues, relay those back to customer to make sure changes are acceptable
- Interact with customers and/or sales on any pricing requests, service issues or general needs on any open orders
- Work with customers on any KPI’s reports to make sure the team is staying in compliance and work on those that are out of compliance for continual improvement
- Set up weekly “check-in” meetings with accounts in Exton to see if there is anything additional we can do for them
- Keep Account SOP’s up to date
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience
- Minimum of 1-2 years of customer service or account management experience
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- Transportation/Logistics experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Tools and Transportation Management Systems
