About The Role
Uber Freight Engineering works strategically with potential clients to gain an understanding of their specific supply chain challenges and to jointly explore supply chain improvement opportunities. In addition, the engineering group provides tactical and strategic decision-making services that bridge the gap between planning and operational execution. Our clients have taken advantage of our multi-level approach and have realized benefits such as improved utilization of private fleet operations, lowest cost mode conversion, assignment of carriers to dedicated lanes and reduction of detention and accessorial charges. The position will work a hybrid schedule onsite at Frisco, TX or Rogers, AR.

What The Candidate Will Do
Project Direction
- Provide strategic direction and guide the teams in delivering customer requirements, designing solutions, orchestrating the timeline and providing the right resources/capabilities for success
- Participate in sales efforts to win more customers, respond to RFPs, develop sales and marketing collateral, write statement of work, etc.
- Manage team priorities, provide weekly reports, balance team’s workload, and create a collaborative work environment
- Coordinate SME assignments with cross-functional teams, holding all participants accountable to project milestones and deadlines
- Ensure deliverables meet customer expectations in both timeliness and quality
- Apply customer's operational requirements to model within the Uber Freight optimization framework
- Statistical Analysis
- Use advanced modeling to evaluate and optimize the customer's transportation and distribution network
- Utilize Uber Freight market knowledge and leverage existing Uber Freight data
- 20-30%
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or closely related field
- 5 years of related experience
- Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering
- Working Knowledge of SQL and Tableau
- Advanced knowledge of optimization software
- Knowledge of Supply Chain Management and Transportation industry
- 3 years people management
