Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Area Manager to oversee operations across multiple locations within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in property maintenance, facilities management, and real estate administration. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, the ability to manage conflicts effectively, and a keen understanding of compliance regulations such as LIHTC. The Area Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all properties are maintained to the highest standards while also driving operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of multiple properties, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
- Manage property maintenance activities, coordinating with maintenance staff and vendors to address issues promptly.
- Implement and maintain a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for tracking work orders and maintenance schedules.
- Develop and execute strategies for upselling services to enhance revenue generation.
- Conduct regular inspections of properties to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Handle conflict management effectively, addressing tenant concerns and resolving disputes in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of property operations, including financial reports, maintenance logs, and tenant communications.
- Collaborate with office staff to streamline administrative processes related to property management.
Experience
- Proven experience in property management or facilities management is required.
- Familiarity with real estate administrative tasks and compliance regulations such as LIHTC is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of conflict management techniques and the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism.
- Experience using CMMS or similar software for managing maintenance tasks is a plus.
- A background in law or legal compliance related to property management is advantageous.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $5,958.00 - $13,158.00 per year
