- Jointly manage UNHW clients with the primary financial advisor by providing institutional quality fixed income sales coverage.
- expand existing client relationships within UBS WM USA by developing and communicating to clients actionable ideas throughout the fixed income universe.
- receive and manage client orders as part of the coverage process.
- understand the firm’s CIO research on credit across all products, along with that pertaining to strategy and economics, and translating that research into targeted trading ideas.
- deliver transactional suggestions for positioning in individual bonds and fixed income portfolios through outbound phone calls along with detailed sales and trading written commentary.
- contribute to the expansion of the PMA program. This effort will include speaking individually with FA’s and associated clients/prospects, presenting the PMA value proposition to large groups of FAs at branch meetings, and participating in client events such as conference calls, meetings, and seminars.

We are opportunistically seeking an UHNW fixed income salesperson to join our Premier Markets Access (PMA) direct client coverage team. The specialist will partner with existing Financial Advisors (FAs) to provide coverage of those Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) clients with a focus on offering a premium service involving trade ideas, market color and facilitating transactional business in fixed income as part of the PMA program. A successful candidate will generate incremental revenues to UBS WM USA by enhancing and expanding existing client relationships through regularly delivering actionable ideas, superior transactional management, and communicating market commentary. Working with FAs to on-board future clients to the PMA program will be a continual priority.
Your expertise
- Industry experience with 5 years of providing direct fixed income sales coverage. Able to compose and effectively communicate actionable and relevant transactional ideas via products across the fixed income spectrum. Some wealth management experience is preferred but not required.
- Driven and sales oriented with a history of delivering results.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills. Must be a polished public speaker.
- Able to be resilient and manage stress in a fast paced, dynamic trading floor environment.
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Series 7 and 66 (required within 60 days after start date).
