What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Supervisor 1 position at UC Davis Health System?
This position is an integral part of the Department of Radiology management team and is responsible for all faculty administrative assistants and education program staff in the Department of Radiology. Additionally, the position is responsible for the Department of Radiation Oncology education programs and reports directly to the HR Operations Supervisor. This position also supervises nine people and serves as a backup for the team. #CA-SB

Minimum Qualifications - For full consideration, applicants are encouraged to upload license and / or certification if required of the position
- Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.
- Supervisory and / or leadership experience.
- Strong oral and written communication skills to create and initiate error free documents, including writing and editing skills to compose and proofread letters, financial statements, budget reports and other assigned documents, and to articulate information in a clear, concise, and visually attractive manner, creating error-free documents.
- Advanced word processing skills and experience including Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Outlook and SharePoint.
- Positive attitude toward responsibilities, faculty and co-workers, and demonstrated ability to interact in a helpful, effective, and informative manner with a wide variety of people, using tact and diplomacy.
- Ability to interact with confidence and retain confidential information.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively as a team member and promote a cohesive team environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly convey information and ideas through a variety of media to diverse audiences.
- Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills with the ability to extract and diagnose data.

The combined Departments of Radiology and Radiation Oncology are a large academic and clinical department within the School of Medicine which is responsible for teaching and training of residents, medical students, and clinical fellows, as well as both basic and creative clinical scholarly investigations.
