Primary Purpose:
Responsible for performance of duties assigned by an RN. Duties require basic knowledge of nursing principles and ability to perform technical skills when carrying out nursing procedures that are appropriate to the age population served. Has advanced preparation for administering medications.

Qualifications
Knowledge and Skills:
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing.
Required Skills and Knowledge:Demonstrates knowledge, abilities and skills to provide culturally-specific patient care and education. Effectively communicates with peers, utilizes appropriate communication channels and maintains confidentiality. Demonstrates continual professional growth. New grads welcome.
Licenses and Certifications: Current license. Successful completion of the requirements necessary to obtain a medication administration card.
