Position overview Position title: Multiple Sclerosis/Neuroimmunology Clinician
Salary range: The posted UC Salary scales set the minimum pay at the appointment as determined by appointment type and if applicable, rank and/or step. The base pay range for this position is $90,700 - $238,300. Salary is negotiated annually. Additional compensation may be available if the position includes membership in the Health Sciences Compensation Plan. Position description

The Department of Neurosciences at the University of California San Diego (UCSD) (https://neurosciences.ucsd.edu/) is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff and student body. We are seeking a skilled clinician-investigator specializing in Multiple Sclerosis/Neuroimmunology.

UCSD offers an outstanding environment for teaching, patient care, and research, with dedicated time for scholarly activity at one of the nation's top-ranked medical schools and among the most academically productive Neurosciences Departments in the country. The successful candidate will join a vibrant academic community with access to state-of-the-art resources and a strong collaborative atmosphere.

The selected candidate will provide clinical care to patients, lead and contribute to research initiatives, and teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows.

The appropriate series and appointment will be based on the candidate's background and experience.

Appointments may require candidates to be self-funded.

As a member of the Health Sciences Compensation Plan, the appointee should be aware that there are limitations on outside professional activities, and clinical moonlighting is expressly prohibited. Qualifications
Basic qualifications (required at time of application)

Candidates must have a MD degree or equivalent.

Candidates must be Board-certified or Board-eligible in Neurology, with subspecialty certification in Multiple Sclerosis or Neuroimmunology.

Candidates must have or be eligible for a California medical license or equivalent certification/permit as determined by the Medical Board of California.
