Make your mark for patientsWe are looking to strengthen and support launches within theUS Rare Disease Organization (RDO) we are seeking aCentral Regional Sales Lead (RSL) who is committed to the Rare disease patient journey & community, innovative in identifying those who need treatment and has strong understanding of navigating Health systems in their region to join us in our Rare Disease team, based in any one of the following areas that are included in the region : Georgia, Tennesee, Kentucky and Alabama.About the roleThey will lead Account Executives to represent UCB in the communities we serve as we strive toward transforming the lives of those living with Rare Diseases. The primary responsibility of the RSL is to exceed their team’s sales goals, through Project Management, Planning, Leadership, Development of the Team, and Communication. The RSL should continuously develop and expand the skill set of their team and ensure that their Field Force Team has the tools to exceed the sales goals for the region. Work well with internal and external stakeholders, understand the complexities of rare diseases, and remove barriers for their team. Who you’ll work withLead a team of six Account Executives Field Team MembersMedical Science LiaisonsMarket Access Team (to include Field Reimbursement)Government Affairs Team MembersUS RDO Internal Marketing TeamsUS RDO Patient Services TeamAll KOLs, Specialists, Patient Advocacy Groups, and other HCPs focused on MGAdministrators at key IDNs and Centers of Excellence within the Rare Disease OrganizationWhat you’ll do Lead and manage all aspects of the Commercial Field Force Team which includes exceeding team sales performance goals, with the RSL having the ultimate accountability for these sales resultsDirect and lead the region Account Executives to increase demand and ensure access to our product line while staying within the approved budgetTransversally orchestrate the multiple field roles point-of-sale contact that translates into optimal impact with the HCPs that improves patient careDevelop, present, and execute a comprehensive quarterly regional business plan aligned to the RDO strategic objectives. Align and cascade the plan to individual territories for implementationDevelop strong rapport and collaborate with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)Translate the RDO brand and disease state strategies into a clear, coherent, and actionable direction that results in exceeding sales goals within their region for Field TeamsIdentify ethical and innovative customer-oriented strategies to adapt to changing marketsUtilize dynamic targeting and omnichannel tools to maximize impact with accounts and HCPsParticipate, collaborate, and partner with internal stakeholders to gain insights, solve challenges, and align on prioritiesSupport and exhibit an open environment that fosters and encourages communication at all levelsTake initiative and provide feedback when addressing issues, opportunities, and challenges that pertain to meeting corporate goals and objectivesEnsure a diverse culture grounded in ethical decision-making, adhering to all corporate guidelines and policiesEnsure compliance with corporate policies and procedures and applicable legal standards and requirements4 Pillars in RareDemonstrate great commitment to the Rare Disease patient community and understand the patient journey, the barriers they face in care and treatment, and how to help them overcome those barriersUtilize innovative methods to identify patients who need treatmentMaintain a highly tactical approach to patient accessHelp patients and caregivers navigate the Healthcare System and work around roadblocksInterested? For this role, we’re looking for the following education, experience, and skills Bachelors degree 10 years of progressively successful experience in Biopharma SalesAbility to travel 75% which may include overnight and weekend travel                                                                                                                         Proven success leading field teams and consistently achieving budget and meeting goalsExperience / involvement in successful product launchesPreferred experience : Pharmaceutical or Biopharma Field Management Role (RSM, DSM, etc.), as a first-line leader Highly preferred experience with buy-and-bill medical benefits, Specialty pharmacy, and HUB delivery modelsSuccess in developing Thought Leader relationshipsExperience in building high-performing teams including recruiting and retentionDemonstrate outstanding written, verbal, and communication skills Proficiency with digital business tools that translate into actionable strategies and successful productsStrong preference for candidates with experience in Rare Diseases, Oncology, or other indications requiring similar skills :   medical knowledge, a high level of patience in interaction and support, complex treatment regimens, access, and adherence to challengesThis position's reasonably anticipated base salary range is $157,000 - $207,000 per year.
