UCEDA SCHOOL is Hiring! Apply at the largest language school in the United States. Over 37 years in education. CEA-accredited Intensive English Program looking for friendly and qualified ESL instructors. Classes are Monday - Thursday. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in English language, with the ability to inspire students and foster a love for reading and writing.
Responsibilities
- Develop lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Teach aspects of English, including grammar, literature, composition, and reading comprehension.
- Assess student performance through assignments, tests, providing constructive feedback.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
- Utilize diverse teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress and classroom activities.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on educational best practices.
Skills
- A degree from a recognized university in English, Education, or a related field is required. Send a cover letter, resume, copies of any relevant degrees/certifications (Bachelor's/Master's)
- Proof of having (TEFL, CELTA, Tesol, etc.)(Recommended not mandatory)
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage students effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A passion for literature and education with a commitment to fostering student growth.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Experience: Teaching Adult education: 1 year
