Medical Assistant - Ambulatory Staffing Development Program
UCHealth is seeking Medical Assistants to join our team in primary care and specialty care clinics.
Job Summary:
We are looking for detail-oriented and compassionate Medical Assistants to provide direct patient care under the delegation and/or supervision of a nurse or healthcare provider. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Provides direct patient care, including gathering vital signs, specimen collection, and communicating changes in patient condition.
- Assists with keeping the care area stocked, cleaned, and orderly.
- Maintains equipment and medical supplies.
- Performs administrative duties, including filing, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.
Requirements:
- MA certification or registration (Medical Assistant I) or equivalent experience.
- Three years of Medical Assistant experience or graduation from an accredited medical assistant program.
