Department: Spiritual Care Services

FTE: Full Time, 80 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Days

Pay: $43.25 - $69.19 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

Requirements

• Minimum Required Education: Master's degree in Theology or related field.
• Required Licensure/Certification: Ordained or member of a religious vocation and have denominational endorsement.
• Minimum Experience: 5 years of relevant experience. Leadership experience in an academic medical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements departmental goals, plans, and standards consistent with the clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization.
• Directs and evaluates departmental operations, including spiritual care delivery, budget development and compliance, and complaint management to achieve performance and quality control objectives.
• Plans and monitors staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives. Develops and conducts education.
• Performs Spiritual care services, including counseling, religious rites and sacraments, worship services and assistance with biomedical ethical decision-making.
