As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer at UCHealth, you will be responsible for performing various ultrasound procedures and ensuring patient understanding and cooperation. This includes monitoring patient conditions, optimizing imaging parameters, and performing quality control on equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor patient conditions and report/respond to changes as necessary.
- Select appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters.
- Implement safety standards and perform quality control procedures on equipment.

Education and Certification:
- Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist program or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer program.
- Registered as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS), Vascular Technologist (RVT), or Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or certified in Sonography (S) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). State licensure if required by law.
