Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experienceSummary : Supervises daily staff activities for assigned diabetes education area or function.Responsibilities : Determines, coordinates and supervises daily staffing assignments and levels. Provides direction, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff. Performs or assists with performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, interviewing and hiring of new staff. Assesses quality of services delivered and facilitates staff development programs.Performs staff responsibilities as needed to fulfill required service levels. Leads the handling and resolution of complex issues and complaints.Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.Requirements : Minimum Required Education : Bachelor's degree in Dietetics. Preferred : Master's Degree Required Licensure / Certification : Health care professional (RD, RN, or others as approved by department leadership). CDCES (Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist) as defined by the Certification Board for Diabetes Care and Education (CBDCE) or board certified in Advanced Diabetes Management (BC-ADM) by the Association of Diabetes Care and Education Specialists (ADCES).|Minimum Experience : 1 year of related experience.BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date.
