FTE: Part Time, 0.6, 48 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Flex. Mix of 12 and 8 hour shifts

Pay: $25.80 - $38.70 / hour

About the Role

The successful candidate will facilitate the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the surgical operating suite with drapes, solutions, instruments, equipment and supplies.
• Ensure good working order of equipment and instruments.
• Assist with preparing, transporting, positioning and draping patients.
• Pass instruments to physician during surgery.
• Continually account for number and location of instruments and supplies during surgery.
• Receive and process specimens for delivery to the laboratory.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED or Military trained.
• State Surgical Assistant or Surgical Technologist registration.
• 6 months Surgical Tech experience or graduate of an accredited Surgical Tech program.
• BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date.
